Absinthe by Akai-Ink Absinthe by Akai-Ink
Absinthe - Traditionally made from a variety of herbs including wormwood and anise, absinthe is famous for its vibrant green color. It makes for a savory cocktail when substituted for gin in a dry martini.

Turkish silver findings with 1.5" black bugle beads, seafoam and poison-green pearls on handmade french hoops.

No wirework to speak of, but a fun pair of earrings to wear out with the girls. I like that they combine stiff lines with soft curves and baroque pearls. A little bit gothic, a little bit sexy.

Hey, pretty neat, did you make it all yourself or did you use scraps of stuff?

I wish I'd made the filigree myself, but sadly, I'm only just learning how to do filigree. Needless to say, I'm still a ways from the level of detail in these stations. :crying:

Hmm... I'd say... practice makes perfect.

But then again, I've been practicing a lot of things that I still suck at, so maybe it's not working. :P

Thanks! Those pearls have been sitting in my box waiting to be used for months. I'm glad you like them, too. :D

Thanks. I can't take any credit for the base, though. These were just a quick instant gratification for me. :D
